Hygge CAL

I stumbled upon the Scheepjes crochet along (CAL) combining crochet and cross stitch a few weeks ago. It starts today.  I'm not using the recommended yarn because I have plenty of cotton yarns and embroidery threads already and I like stylecraft DK which I a lot cheaper.



This is my sample swatch which obviously needs a lot more practice on the cross stitch. I haven't done any of that for a very long time.





The first part is released at 12pm GMT today. Hopefully I'll get time to start the project tonight and show my progress in the coming days.
