Book Journey - 14th March 2011

I started Angelas Ashes by Frank McCourt last week and I must say it is a compelling read.  It is his recount of his childhood starting in America and ending up back in his parents homeland of Ireland.  Covering the awful conditions he lived in and the tragedies affecting his family.  It is a can't put down read.  I'm about half way through at the moment and hopefully will be finished by next week.

I read Angela's Ashes many years ago and loved it.

I still haven't read Angela's Ashes. I really should! I didn't realise it was a "true story" though - I thought it was fictional...
Glad you're enjoying it.
